This year, we did something slightly different to our normal holidays!
Instead of going north we went south (but not really far far south) and travelled to Morocco. The trip however was very different to a standard touristic Morocco trip. We skipped the usual cultural program, mosques, medinas and tourist markets and swapped it with a full dose of nature. People tend to look at you slightly disturbed when you tell them, that you went to find scorpions, snakes and other creepy crawlies as well as birds I’ve never heard of before. But I think it’s OK to be not totally normal 😉 We only spent one week there, but had a very steep learning curve on how to find and identify these animals; we had great fun, and we met some lovely people. – What more can you wish for?!
