A picture doesn’t give you the full story, since you clearly miss out on the smell ?. Travelling from Taupo to Rotorua did take us pass the Huka Falls (where white water rafting is not recommended) and different areas with surface thermal activity. We visited Craters of the moon and Wai-O-Tapu (Sacred Waters).
